Volunteers Needed

As always, we are in desperate need of volunteers. Many hands make light work, as the saying goes, and that is definitely true down at the Haven!

Whether it's cleaning cat or dog pens, feeding hungry mouths, walking pooches or seeing the public through... we need it! Even if you just have a spare couple of hours to help sort through our storage rooms or hang out the washing, we would really appreciate it.

In particular, we are currently struggling to recruit volunteers for cleaning and walking the dogs on Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday Mornings.

Another way to help out is to become a fosterer. With fostering, you get all the joy and fun of raising an animal, without the life-long responsibility and commitment! We are often in need of people to look after young kittens until they're old enough to go to new homes. During 'kitten season' you might even get the opportunity to care for a mother cat with kittens!

We'll supply you with the food and litter you'll need (although of course if you're able to help out it would be appreciated greatly) and you get to watch and learn as the little bundles grow into fun loving young adults. Once they're old enough we'll have room for them in the cattery.
