All You Need to Know

The Ten Commandments of Dog and Cat Ownership
Feed your pet a balanced diet and make sure it always has fresh water.
Provide a cosy, cool and dry sleeping area.
Exercise your dog every day, but keep it on a leash outside your yard.
Protect your pet's health. See a veterinarian about vaccinations and the control of worms, fleas and ticks.
Have your dog or cat desexed to stop it breeding.
Don't let your dog roam.
Train your dog to be obedient.
Make sure your dog doesn't attack people such as the postman or meter readers.
Register your dog with your local council and ensure it always wears its registration and address tag. Cats should wear an address tag on an elasticised collar.
When you go on holidays leave your pet at a reputable boarding kennel or cattery.
