2008 Annual
Appeal / How you can help.

The Waikato SPCA Annual Appeal Week runs from 8th November to 14th November inclusive. We are not government funded and rely totally on the generosity of the community to keep our service running here in the Waikato.
As an organisation our mission is to enhance the welfare of all animals in New Zealand by:
The money raised from our collection remains in the WAIKATO area, used to help Waikato animals and community.
Every year we struggle to secure collectors to cover supermarket venues and door to door collectors, and we appreciate the support of those that do commit.
The Waikato SPCA covers a huge territory and we need collectors in all areas of our region, this includes
Hamilton city and suburbs Morrinsville
Matamata, Te Aroha
Cambridge Ngaruawahia
Huntly Raglan
We ask for a couple of hours of your time to stand outside a supermarket with an SPCA bucket, a smile, and collect. We fit collectors into a roster that works for the collector and appreciate any time that a collector can give.
If you would prefer to go door to door with a bucket in your own street then we need your help also.
Last year with the support of collectors we raised approximately $70,000. The aim this year is to reach a target of $100,000.
With your help this is achievable. If you can offer your time as a sub co-ordinator of an area (large or small) or sub co-ordinator for one supermarket, or collector please ring Adrienne on 8475617 (Hamilton) or Mike on 07) 823 1651
